
The Law Office of Shannon K. Holstein

Shannon has represented and championed service members and veterans since 1996. she served for 11 years on active duty as an air force judge advocate and later as a reservist, achieving the rank of lieutenant colonel. she earned her juris doctorate at the university of south Dakota school of law in 1996 and a Master of Science degree at Creighton University School of Law in 2014. Shannon is admitted to practice law in the States of Arizona and South Dakota and before the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She is accredited by VA to represent Veterans in any state.
After leaving active duty, Shannon served for two years as the sexual assault response coordinator at Ellsworth air force base, south Dakota. she left the job in 2011 to pursue her dream of representing veterans in VA disability cases. Shannon is a proud usaf "brat" and has spent most of her life in the company of service members and veterans. Holding true to the USAF core values–Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence in All We Do–she fights for veterans, survivors, and dependents to receive all VA benefits to which the law entitles them.

Shannon represents veterans and survivors in all areas of disability but maintains a special interest in military sexual trauma cases, mental health claims, and cases involving Native American veterans. She has been a sustaining member of the national organization of veterans' advocates since 2012.
